NEW DELHIThough the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) had forwarded allegations about malpractices in JEE-2006 to Damodar Acharya, director of IIT-Kharagpur, way back in 2007, the institute did not feel the need to order a probe. Instead, IIT Kharagpur told the HRD ministry that "as per conduct rule of the institute no employee is permitted to publish any article anonymously or in the name of any other person to any newspaper or periodical."

now access the papers of NET through RTI

The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. The Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science.
Now you can access the papers of NET by putting up RTI to UGC. Though UGC have put the few papers on its web site, but you can ask for papers along with the answer key of every year which is not available on NET. I have recently did it for Law Code 58

Biggest RTI campaign of India

Kota is well known coaching hub but since last three years it has been given a step motherly treatment by our policy makers. It is well known facts that thousand of students come here for the preparation of IIT JEE and AIEEE. Till year 2007 Kota was the center of these two prestigious examinations, however suddenly our policy makers decided to remove it with out any apparent reasons. This harsh and foolish decision has made the life of thousands of students miserable because of the financial burden, emotional disturbance, and concentration implications when students move from one place to another place for appearing in the exam.
