To
THE HON'BLE CHIEF JUSTICE
THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI
SHER SHAH ROAD
NEW DELHI

Subject: Public Interest Litigation (P.I.L.) against Ministry of HRD, New Delhi and the Joint Admission Board, IIT, Madras against grave mistakes in the question paper of the  IIT Joint Entrance held on 11th April, 2010 and request for re-holding the examination.

Respected Sir,

The people are highly affected and hurt by the grave errors in the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination held last 11th April, 2010. In spite of not just one, but a series of blunders in such a highly prestigious examination, the concerned authorities are not willing to hold re-examination.

Through various media reports, it has come to notice that a W.P.(C) / PIL no. 2784/2010 by one journalist Chetan Upadhyaya against IIT JEE-2010 has been accepted by your court for hearing on the next 19th May, 2010. May I request you, your honour, to treat this letter as PIL in the same case against the anomalies in the IIT JEE-2010.

Sir, due to the grave mistakes committed by the Joint Admission Board (IIT), the future of thousands of students is in danger and there is no logical way to address this problem except re-examination.

Sir, Through this registered post, I want to I bring to your notice that the IIT Joint Admission Board, in order to save itself from the court orders, may pre-pone the results and instead of 26th May 2010,  may declare it before the next court hearing on 19th May, 2010. So, in the interest of the society and the nation, it is therefore prayed to you to issue immediate stay orders on the publication of results till the pendency of the petition.

Kindly treat this letter by registered post as PIL in the above said matter and since the corrective measures suggested by the IIT are totally illogical and discriminatory in nature, you are kindly requested to go into the depth of the matter and issue immediate orders for stay on the publication of results & order the Ministry of HRD and IIT Joint Admission Board for the re-examination.

Thanks & regards,
