Notice to IIT-JEE chairman
Jaipur, May 21 (PTI) The Rajasthan High Court has issued a show cause notice to the Department of Human Resource, New Delhi and IIT-JEE Board on a writ petition seeking quashing of the entrance test for the elite institutes held this year on grounds of alleged dicrepancies in the question paper.
The notice was issued by a single Judge bench of the high court to the Secretary of the Human Resource Department and Chairman IIT-JEE board on a writ petition which has cited several dicrepancies like different instructions in Hindi and English in the question paper.
Even the allotment to a single question was variable in Hindi and English medium which had caused a loss of 40 per cent marks to Hindi medium examinees, the petitioners alleged.
